"Never Once"

Pyle Update

“Never Once” Whew! We survived the first year! We may not have done it well or with much grace :) but we are standing here and that in itself feels like a big accomplishment! Looking back, there were many moments full of joy, laughter and smiles, but there were also many tears, and to be brutally honest, several sleepless nights of wondering what in the world we were doing here. If we had been living in our own strength, I’m pretty sure we would have given up and boarded a plane back home. But as I sit here and recall these moments (the good and the bad), they all have one thing in common….never once did we face any of them alone. In every moment, God was walking alongside us and many times carrying us. He gave us the strength to carry on when we wanted to give up. He used every hardship and battle to mold us into His likeness. He also gave us each and everyone of you to pray for us and encourage us along the way. How good is our God?!  I recently heard the song ‘Never Once’ by Matt Redman and I couldn’t help but cry the entire time. It sums this past year up so perfectly. Standing on this mountaintop Looking just how far we've come Knowing that for every step You were with us Kneeling on this battle ground Seeing just how much You've done Knowing every victory Was Your power in us Scars and struggles on the way But with joy our hearts can say Yes, our hearts can say Never once did we ever walk alone Never once did You leave us on our own You are faithful, God, You are faithful   The Big Move! We are moved in and loving it! What a huge blessing it's already been! We have one more family to get moved in before furlough. They should be able to move this weekend. What a big difference it will make for our team to all be in one location and on the same campus as the school! We've already seen the benefits and know there are many more to come. Thank you to everyone you gave and who physically had a hand in constructing our new homes!
